Material concerning missions in Alabama and North Carolina. Much of the material relates to St. Mary's Mission in Opelika, Alabama, and includes mission scrapbook of news clippings, correspondence, and articles concerning dedication ceremonies and other activities, 1910-1914. Also, publication, THE MARIAN, 1911-1914; correspondence, notes, news clippings and articles of several missionaries, including letters from early missionaries from 1840's to 1860's; diary of St. Mary's Mission containing brief entries about daily operations, 1946-1948; and statistics. Missionaries in Alexander City, Auburn, Lanett, Phenix City and Tallassee in Alabama, and Greensboro, North Carolina, are documented by photographs, reports, news clippings, operational records, diary, historical notes, correspondence, and anniversary celebration material, 1948-1978.
